Military Families

When military personnel are deployed, children and families are disrupted in significant, though sometimes invisible ways.  Before, during, and after deployment, as well as the time following return of military personnel to their homes and community, children and families may need additional attention, supports, and services.  As awareness increases about the short and long term social, emotional, and mental health effects of military deployment on children, families, and those serving in the military, resources are growing to address these needs.
